Utilising Berlin as a site for exploration, 'a here and a there' examined how fourteen photographers affiliated with the Centre for Urban and Community Research at Goldsmiths, University of London combined their photographic practices with walking in the city. The exhibition was part of Urban Encounters 2010, organised by the Centre for Urban and Community Research in partnership with Tate Britain, Openvizor and Viewfinder Photography Gallery, London, and was curated by David Kendall and Lanis Levy. It ran from 27 January to 15 June 2012 at the Centre for Urban and Community Research, Laurie Grove Baths, Goldsmiths, University of London.
